Smarter video importing and channel creation
Users want Channel Surfer to support more advanced importing and curation instead of just mirroring YouTube channels.
Requests include:
group videos into themed channels instead of source channels
support sub-categories within themes
let users create a custom channel from multiple YouTube channels
import a playlist as one channel
add more curated channel types like sports, news, gaming, comedy, kids, weird/surreal, and live/current-event content
This would make Channel Surfer feel more like real TV programming and less like a thin wrapper around YouTube.

deleting channels
i would love to see the feature where you can delete the default channels so you can add way more videos and channels so those 99 channels (Excluding Weather) can be out of the picture so you can add way more for yourself 😃

I just added the ability to delete imported channels. I’ll give deleting the default ones some thought!

Channel Creation Tool
I’d like the ability to create a channel in Channel Surfer based on a selected list of YT channels and have the channel be populated with a mix of the most recent videos from those channels. That way, I have more control than whatever the contents of my subscriptions list are, and I also don’t have to manually go through the effort of making a playlist.

Import Channels as Themed Channels
Instead of importing youtube channels individually that would be awsome if they could be sorted into theme/interest based seperate channels.
